George Industries is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to lead our most complex and strategically important aerospace programs. This senior-level role requires exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on program execution to ensure the success of high-value initiatives.
Position Summary:
The Senior Program Manager will oversee multi-million-dollar aerospace programs from concept through delivery. This role combines strategic planning, advanced program oversight, and executive-level customer engagement. The ideal candidate ensures programs meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives while maintaining compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex aerospace programs with significant strategic and financial impact.
- Develop and execute long-term program strategies to drive growth, profitability, and organizational success.
- Serve as the primary interface for executive-level customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with program objectives.
- Oversee program planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring programs stay on schedule and within budget.
- Manage risk identification and mitigation strategies, including technical, financial, and schedule-related risks.
- Direct cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other departments.
- Lead contract negotiations, modifications, and compliance monitoring.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives in program management processes.
- Mentor and develop junior program managers and team members, fostering a culture of high performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive program management experience, including leadership of large, high-value aerospace programs. PMP certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, program financials, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Competencies: Strategic and visionary leadership, exceptional decision-making, strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
