We are seeking a detail-oriented QC/QA Laboratory Technician for a temporary role supporting quality control and laboratory operations in a manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in chemical and physical testing, data analysis, and quality assurance to ensure products meet strict specifications and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine QC sampling and composite analysis on a scheduled basis
- Conduct chemical and physical testing using laboratory instrumentation and manual methods
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and data tracking systems
- Communicate test results and analysis updates to production teams
- Support sample preparation and shipment to customers and external labs
- Troubleshoot equipment and report any non-routine issues or safety concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant lab environment
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; science-related education preferred
- 6 months of experience in lab, manufacturing, or production environments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety protocols and perform basic math calculations
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a production/laboratory setting with safety equipment
