QC Chemistry Associate
Location: Irvine, CA
Pay: $27.58-$29.05/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
We are seeking a QC Chemistry Associate to support quality control testing and laboratory operations for pharmaceutical and compounded products. This contract opportunity is ideal for candidates with laboratory experience, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of quality systems in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Conduct laboratory analyses including pH, specific gravity, titrations, viscosity, and other wet chemistry tests.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Review and document test results in compliance with cGMP, GLP, SOP, USP, and FDA requirements.
- Support testing using analytical instrumentation such as UPLC, HPLC, GC/MS, ICP/MS, and LC/MS systems.
- Prepare reagents, maintain laboratory records, and ensure accurate data collection.
- Assist with laboratory housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and waste disposal procedures.
- Collaborate with Quality Control and laboratory teams to support ongoing projects and daily operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory or quality control experience.
- Knowledge of analytical testing techniques and laboratory best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
