Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Project Master Scheduler leads our client's enterprise‑level planning and scheduling function. This position owns the creation, maintenance, and publication of the Master Ship Schedule (MSS), Pier Schedules, and all vessel‑specific operational schedules across the organization’s global portfolio.
This leader ensures that all Operations Plans of Work (OPOWs) accurately incorporate cross‑functional inputs, schedule‑lock requirements, and operational constraints. The role partners closely with Project Management, Factory & Sub‑System Planning, Supply Chain, Fleet Operations, and Project Schedulers to proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate capacity risks.
The Senior Manager is accountable for delivering accurate, consistent, and actionable schedules that enhance execution efficiency, reduce operational risk, and support both internal reporting and client‑facing commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Master Schedule Ownership — Lead development and governance of the MSS, Pier Schedules, and vessel‑specific schedules
- Cross‑Functional Integration — Ensure OPOWs reflect accurate planning inputs and schedule‑lock requirements
- Capacity Risk Management — Identify, mitigate, and escalate operational capacity constraints across functions
- Stakeholder Collaboration — Partner with PMO, Supply Chain, Fleet Ops, and Planning teams to maintain schedule integrity
- Schedule Accuracy & Reporting — Deliver consistent schedules that support internal operations and client reporting
- Operational Efficiency — Drive scheduling practices that reduce risk and improve execution performance
