Ephrata, PA | Direct Hire | $80,000-$85,000
Ready to lead a high-performing manufacturing team and make a direct impact on production success? We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee operations in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment known for quality craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement.
In this leadership role, you will manage a team of approximately 30 employees with the support of 3 Team Leads, driving performance in safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Candidates with metal fabrication, welding, robotic welding, or manufacturing leadership experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees on 2nd shift
- Oversee manufacturing operations including welding, sawing, punch press, shot blasting, and powder coating
- Schedule production resources and labor to meet customer demand
- Monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, production, and efficiency
- Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members
- Review labor reporting, timekeeping, and production data
- Maintain a strong safety-first culture on the shop floor
Qualifications
- 3 years of Production or Manufacturing Supervisory experience
- Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing environments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- MIG/GMAW welding and robotic welding experience preferred
- Experience with saws, punch presses, or powder coating highly preferred
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM
- Occasional overtime and Saturday work as needed
