Operations Trainer

In this role, you will train manufacturing, warehouse, or production employees and ensure standardized work processes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver new-hire orientation and onboarding training.
- Train operators on work instructions, SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Conduct classroom and hands-on production floor training.
- Track employee training records and certification status.
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide coaching.
- Support cross-training initiatives to improve workforce flexibility.
- Work with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to update training materials.
- Ensure compliance with customer, ISO, safety, and company requirements.
- Assist supervisors with performance improvement plans and retraining efforts.
- Maintain training documentation and audit readiness.
Typical Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
- 2 years of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or training experience.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and training documentation systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, quality systems, or continuous improvement is often preferred.
- Ability to work on the production floor and train employees across shifts.
