Network Support Specialist

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite – 5 Days per Week)

Duration: Contract (Month-to-Month)

Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr

Overview

Our client is seeking a Network Administrator to provide hands-on support for network infrastructure, telephony systems, and conference room technologies within a corporate environment. This role is ideal for an IT professional with 3 years of networking experience who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting infrastructure projects, and working directly with end users and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and troubleshoot Cisco network switches and related infrastructure
• Support network equipment refreshes, upgrades, and replacement projects
• Assist with Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) and telephony device support and migrations
• Provide support for conference room and audiovisual technologies including Barco ClickShare, Logitech Rally systems, and BiAmp devices
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, cabling, and peripheral device issues
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities
• Resolve and escalate support requests through ServiceNow
• Participate in network monitoring and L1/L2 support activities
• Document issues, resolutions, and infrastructure changes as required
• Provide onsite support at the Irvine facility and occasional support at nearby locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Network Administration, Network Engineering, or Infrastructure Support
• Experience supporting Cisco networking environments
• Knowledge of network switching, routing, VLANs, and troubleshooting methodologies
• Experience with Cisco Call Manager (CUCM), VoIP, or telephony systems
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently in an onsite support environment
