What You'll Do
- Disassemble hydraulic rod cylinders of all types, inspect, and measure dimensions.
- Diagnose repair needs and procure the correct parts for reassembly.
- Assemble cylinders and test systems; operate micro-finishing and honing machines for precision work.
- Remove and install hydraulic components from vehicles and equipment.
- Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools for accurate measurements.
- Maintain repair orders, parts usage logs, labor time records, and use computer systems for documentation.
- Perform daily housekeeping of tools, materials, and workspace to ensure a safe, efficient environment.
- Assist in other shop or field assignments as needed.
What You'll Bring
- 2-3 years of experience repairing or maintaining hydraulic components (3-5 years preferred for senior roles).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hydraulic maintenance and repair.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, squat, climb, and work in tight or awkward environments.
- Comfortable driving service vehicles on occasion and proficient in using computers for record-keeping.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers.
- Valid driver's license, legal eligibility to work in the U.S., and ability to pass pre-employment testing.
