What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro-Mechanical Assemblers position at Advantage Technical?
Join Advantage Technical and become part of a high-tech manufacturing team building advanced equipment for the semiconductor industry. We're looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Electro-Mechanical Assembler to support complex builds in a structured, cleanroom environment.
Pay: $22.00/hr base shift differentials
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday - Friday ( 10% shift differential)
- 3rd Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Monday - Thursday ( 15% shift differential applies)
Responsibilities:
- Assemble motors, sensors, wiring, and other precision electromechanical components
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring schematics, and BOMs
- Use hand tools, torque drivers, and multimeters to ensure accurate builds
- Perform basic soldering, wire crimping, and harness fabrication
- Follow cleanroom protocols and electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures
- Log assembly activity in ERP and MES systems like Opcenter
- Report any discrepancies or quality issues promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized work area; support 5S and lean initiatives
- Adhere strictly to safety and quality standards
What You Bring:
- Prior experience in electro-mechanical assembly or related manufacturing role
- Ability to read technical documents and use standard assembly/test tools
- Familiarity with cleanroom and ESD handling (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
