Electrical Designer
Position Type: Contract to Hire
Position Location: Houston, TX
Position Salary: $45/HR - $55/HR (Depending on Experience)
Position Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am-4pm (In Office)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing accurate, detailed electrical drawings for industrial systems, particularly focusing on power distribution and automation.
- Produce detailed electrical schematics, power distribution layouts, layouts, and wiring diagrams using Electrical CAD software.
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams for industrial automation and electrical equipment.
- Assist senior engineers with calculations, design reports, and documentation for projects.
- Design layouts for PLC, VFD, and stator systems.
- Collaborate with other team members, engineers, and clients to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Perform on-site visits to monitor installations, conduct field service, and troubleshoot electrical design issues.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry codes and safety standards
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED a minimum; Higher education or certifications are a plus
- 5 years of experience in Electrical Design background
- Strong expertise in AutoCAD Electrical for modeling.
- Strong understanding of electrical control systems, power distribution, and industrial automation.
- Excellent communication skills for working with engineering teams and clients
Salary : $45 - $55
