What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at Advantage Technical?
- Manage end-to-end construction projects including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
- Develop and oversee project scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution strategies.
- Lead capital improvement projects such as facility expansions, infrastructure upgrades, and buildouts.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Facilities, Engineering, Operations, IT, and SHE.
- Manage RFPs, contractor selection, and contract administration.
- Monitor construction progress, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with OSHA and building codes.
- Track project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, implementing cost controls and change management.
- Lead stakeholder communication, providing updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
- Conduct site inspections, manage RFIs and change orders, and oversee contractor performance.
- Ensure successful project closeout, commissioning, and handoff to operations and maintenance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience managing facility construction and capital projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management, budgeting, and construction processes.
- Experience with OSHA regulations, permitting, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP, OSHA 30, PE, or CCM certifications preferred.
