Applications Engineer (HOT JOB)

The ideal Applications Engineer candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical systems, particularly with reciprocating compressors or similar equipment.

• The candidate should possess strong thermodynamics understanding, customer interface experience, as well as the ability to analyze and interpret performance data, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performance analysis of compressor systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
• The candidate should be highly organized, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
• Willingness to travel domestically 1 - 2 times monthly to visit client sites.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and sales team to review project requirements, develop proposals, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Provide engineering input and support throughout the entire sales lifecycle—from initial project scoping and site data collection to technical solution development, implementation, and after-sales support.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of compressor valves; collect operational data for continuous improvement and diagnostics.
• Develop technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and internal teams.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, field performance, and customer feedback to inform product improvements and innovation.
• Contribute to the development of marketing and training materials, including application notes, case studies, and user guides.
