What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Lead Machine Operator position at Advantage Technical?
Location: Leola, PA
Temp to Perm
2nd Shift, 2PM - 10:30PM
Pay Rate: Up to $30/hr depending on experience.
**Looking for fabrication specialist with cutting and punching experience. Welding experience is a plus.**
Primary Responsibilities:
- Learn to set up and operate a variety of equipment as you build your metalworking skills.
- Fabricate parts operating the Stripit brake press, Peddinghaus shearing machine, Pacific punch press, horizontal saws, or robotic welders.
- Check parts produced according to work ticket to ensure all parts are within tolerance of customer specifications.
- Machine set-up knowledge is a plus.
- Serve as Shift Team Lead.
Requirements:
Maintaining a safe work environment.
Ability to read and use a tape measure
Understanding and reading blueprints.
Repetitive lifting up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand, be mobile, and physically able to handle and transport materials during the 8-hour shift.
Other duties as assigned.
High school or equivalent (Preferred).
Manufacturing experience 4 years (Preferred).
Previous experience in a Team Lead role.
