Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities
Assist residents or patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Monitor patient health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature regularly
Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance
Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition tailored to individual needs
Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
Observe and document changes in residents’ conditions, behaviors, or symptoms to inform healthcare teams
Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s
Follow all safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures to respond effectively during emergencies
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to develop and implement personalized care plans
Engage residents in social activities or companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
Experience
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is beneficial
Demonstrated ability to perform patient observation and monitor vital signs accurately
Experience with medication administration and following detailed care plans according to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA
Familiarity with using mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts for safe patient transfers
Background in providing long-term care or home health services that emphasize compassionate caregiving and patient safety
Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; ongoing training in dementia or memory care is a plus
