Bookkeeper – HVAC Company – Prescott, AZ – $27–$32/hr DOE
HVAC company of 29 years is hiring a full-time, in-house bookkeeper. You'll work side by side with our Accountant / Office Manager and own the day-to-day accounting that keeps a busy service company running.
What you'll do
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in ServiceTitan and QuickBooks
- Post customer payments (cash, check, credit card, financing) and process bank deposits
- Review daily employee time and prepare weekly payroll
- Reconcile bank, credit card and petty cash accounts monthly
- Help run the office: phones, supplies, vehicle records
What we're looking for
- 5 years of hands-on accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience
- Strong QuickBooks skills and solid Excel
- Payroll processing experience
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting preferred
- ServiceTitan and/or construction or HVAC experience is a big plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling many tasks with a friendly, diverse team
- Familiarity with Arizona TPT and payroll tax filings.
- Able to pick up new programs quickly. We use ServiceTitan, QuickBooks and Inova, and we’re always looking for better ways to work
- Open to learning & using AI in order to help run processes more efficiently.
Pay and schedule
- $27–$32 per hour, depending on experience
- Full time (32-40 hours depending on work load), in Prescott office
- 4-day work week, Wednesdays off.
