Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
- Explain repair procedures, service options, and estimates clearly and transparently.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, diagnostics, shocks & struts replacement, brake systems.
- Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that benefit the customer’s vehicle performance and safety.
- Manage service writing tasks efficiently by creating detailed work orders and tracking progress throughout the repair process.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools and repair procedures to assist technicians when needed.
Skills
- auto service management background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services confidently while prioritizing customer needs.
- Mechanical knowledge across various systems including oil changes,,electrical repairs, , suspensions, shocks & struts, brake systems, and more.
- Experience with auto estimating software and service writing is highly desirable.
- Strong sales skills combined with a proactive approach to recommending vehicle maintenance solutions.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining integrity and professionalism.
