New Business Sales Representative

About our position
We are looking for a driven New Business Sales Representative who will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Strategic Sales to sell the ASI family of products, including OpenWater software, services, and programs to potential new clients, with the aim of consistently achieving or surpassing revenue goals.


 
What you’ll be doing

  • Selling products to qualified opportunities through video/conference calls, in-person meetings, emails, and other communication delivery methods. 
  • Attending industry events, conferences, webinars and face-to-face seminars, as needed, to promote and sell ASI products. 
  • Achieving and maintaining in-depth knowledge of ASI’s products and services to educate prospective clients on product features, benefits and value.
  • Collaborates with the sales support team to conduct demo presentations and identify accurate project requirements.
  • Engaging with prospective clients to understand pain points, build rapport, and close deals.
  • Follows up with clients to ensure client satisfaction and appropriate support services are provided. 
  • Facilitating communication of client concerns or issues to appropriate staff or business partners to ensure follow-up that addresses client needs.
  • Performing other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

 

What we want you to have

  • BS/BA in relevant field or related experience. 
  • 2 years of experience closing B2B SaaS sales, with proven success at or above quota.
  • 2 years of experience successfully selling into the Association Market.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience building rapport with prospects and clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in sales management software and CRM.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a sense of urgency for closing business.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.

Compensation
 Compensation for this position is determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, an individual’s skills, experience, training, certifications, education, geographic location, business needs, and internal equity. For candidates located in Alexandria, VA or Austin, TX, the current estimated compensation range for this role is $80,000–$100,000. Compensation may vary for candidates in other locations within the United States.
