Key Responsibilitiesprovide professional bid proposals with a high level of attention to detailImplement selling and marketing strategies to penetrate and develop commercial HVAC accountsDevelop strategic relationships with key commercial client accounts to generate repeat businessDevelop strong relationships with HVAC subcontractors and vendorsReview and negotiate contract terms and conditionsPerform sales presentations and site walks as neededProvide knowledge and consultation by developing commercial HVAC system solutions for customer needsUnderstand construction specifications in relationship to production, construction, and installation within the commercial HVAC industryPresent weekly internal sales reportsAchieve quarterly quota for bids submitted and wonMaintain active participation in 2–3 networking groupsFollow up on all proposals within established timelinesTrack and report all proposal submissions, follow-ups, and sales data at weekly sales meetingsSchedule and complete project handoffs with the operations team upon securing a projectPerform buy-outs for all major equipment and materials and deliver full submittal packages to the Project ManagerStay up to date on active jobs, ensure client satisfaction, process change orders and design changes, and address major issues by providing direction to the teamCollect on any accounts that are 30 days past dueAttend new product training sessions to stay current on industry advancements Skills, Experience, and Knowledge RequiredEducation
Bachelor’s DegreeExperience
Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC commercial salesHigh level of energy, creativity and independent thinkingExcellent computer skillsExcellent communication, presentation and follow up skills required.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environmentA strong work ethic and a high level of self-motivation.Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environmentSkills & Requirements
