Position Summary |
The Electrical Assistant assists electrician with the installment and maintenance of Advanced Green Technologies electrical/solar power systems. The worksite is in Pensacola |

Job Responsibilities |
- Checks electrical units for loose connections
- Measures and cuts wires and conduits
- Drills holes for electrical hookups
- Assists electrician by providing he/she tools needed on the job
- Helps with the daily power down of project and storage of electrical equipment
- Follows safety protocols
- Installs Solar modules, racking, wiring

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES |
|
Education |
- High school degree or GED
|
|
Experience - 1 to 2 years on the job training in a similar role
- Prior electrical experience preferred
|
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities |
- Must be able to pass drug screening test
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to decipher between different colors of wiring
- Must be able to lift 100 LBS or more
- Ability to use basic electrical hand tools (pliers, electrician scissors, wire strippers, etc)
- Ability to use electrical equipment like thermal scanners, circuit tracers and multimeters
- Good listening skills
- Fine motor skills
- Good communication skills
