Advanced Personnel Resources (APR) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inside Sales Support Specialist to join a growing team within the industrial manufacturing sector. This role serves as a key link between customers, sales teams, and internal departments: supporting the full sales cycle from quoting to order fulfillment.
Location: Burlington, NC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Employment Type: Contract / Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to customers and sales teams via phone, email, and online platforms
- Prepare and issue quotes based on customer specifications and project requirements
- Research bid opportunities and project details
- Enter and process purchase orders accurately within an ERP system
- Follow up on open quotes, orders, and customer inquiries to ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to manage shipments and delivery schedules
- Track shipments and assist with resolving order discrepancies or returns
- Maintain organized sales records, including orders, shipping documentation, and pricing
- Support reporting, data entry, and internal communication across departments
- Collaborate with production and inventory teams to confirm product availability and lead times
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Assist with additional duties and occasional trade show support as needed
