Responsibilities
- Drive a company-provided service van to customer locations throughout the Cleveland area.
- Work alongside another technician to complete commercial kitchen cleaning projects.
- Follow assigned schedules and arrive on time for appointments.
- Perform commercial kitchen deep-cleaning services.
- Degrease kitchen equipment and remove carbon buildup.
- Clean, sanitize, and polish stainless steel surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen floors and work areas.
- Remove debris, trash, and waste materials.
- Clean commercial kitchen equipment and food preparation areas.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Properly use cleaning chemicals and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience required.
- Restaurant, kitchen, hood cleaning, or janitorial experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be willing and able to drive a company van.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Comfortable working around grease, cleaning chemicals, and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning work.
- Ability to work in warm commercial kitchen environments.
