About the Role
You will support the Project Managment team in organizing and coordinating project activities from inception to closeout. The position is primarily office-based, with occasional travel to job sites to coordinate with contractors, gather field dimensions, verify conditions, and support project execution. This role is designed for someone who is motivated to grow into a Project Manager position as they gain experience and demonstrate capability.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Review and approve finish samples
- Process material submittals and RFI's
- Assist with processing and tracking change orders
- Assist with tracking project budgets
Qualifications
- Foundational experience in commercial construction, architecture, or a related technical field
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management tools is a plus
- Demonstrated interest in growing into a Project Manager role
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in architectural millwork, construction project management, or a similar role is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is a plus
