AAC is looking for a Systems Engineer for a position working onsite for our client located in Columbia, SC.Role OverviewThis position focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems that support regulated processes. Responsibilities include system analysis, configuration, workflow development, validation, and ongoing support to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.Position Summary:● Perform system analysis, system design, configuration, workflow, development, implementation, validation testing, and system administrative tasks for cGMP regulated processes.● Understand peripheral system capabilities and how they integrate.● Work with company managers to develop functional system level requirements and simulate or assist in the development of systems per the functional requirements and application of practical knowledge. This involves deriving requirements for manufacturing operations, understanding peripheral system capabilities and how they could integrate with other systems.● Assists with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.● Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.Primary Accountabilities:● Analyze, design, develop, test and deploy workflow modifications and/or software updates to improve the overall efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of the systems.● Provide technical and functional support● Perform routine system maintenance and related systems to ensure efficiency of our software and electronic systems.● Partners with other managers on the deployment/execution of all new applications which may include the training of all users.● Partners with the Validation department on all changes to our validated systems to include writing and executing qualification documents.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:● Bachelor’s in engineering or related science and 3 or more years of experience in systems design and development/maintenance● Candidate shall possess strong knowledge and skills in systems application● Candidate shall be fluently knowledgeable in and analytical systems● Strong fluent communication and consensus building skills● An ongoing and increasing understanding of the cGMP product development process● The ability to take strategic objectives and accept accountability to drive results through effective actions.● The ability and willingness to change direction and focus to meet shifting organizational and business demands.● The ability to create and contribute to an environment that values people, encourages trust, teamwork, and open communication, and provides participation, learning, feedback and recognition.● The ability to effectively manage one self, demonstrate integrity, be productive under pressure, and achieve development goals.● The ability to manage a multitude of resources and to be accurate and current with data and information.Company DescriptionAdvanced Automation Consulting, Inc., headquartered in Columbia, SC, is an IT Consulting Services firm focused on the long-term success of our clients and consultants.
