We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our established small business . Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting to ensure data accuracy
- Prepare and post journal entries, including debits & credits, for various accounts
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently
- Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings
- Support budgeting activities and financial report writing for management review
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation regularly
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documentation with precision
- Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Answer multiline phone, provide customer support as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience with QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting.
- Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation including bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing
- Excellent understanding of financial concepts including budgeting, account analysis, and financial report writing
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for communicating with team members and customers.
