Our small medical supply business is looking for a friendly, dependable, and highly organized Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the main point of contact for patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare partners—providing exceptional service, processing orders, and supporting billing and delivery operations. Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers in person and over the phone
- Deliver excellent customer service to existing and prospective customers
- Answer incoming calls and provide accurate, timely resolutions to inquiries
- Listen to and understand customer needs
- Process orders and customer requests accurately and efficiently
- Verify insurance coverage and coordinate equipment deliveries or pickups
- Maintain accurate patient and customer records in compliance with company and insurance requirements
- Collaborate with delivery and billing teams to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist with medical billing tasks as needed
- Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and documentation management
Qualifications
- 3 years of customer service experience (healthcare experience a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional and pleasant phone manner
- Strong organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; able to work across multiple screens and systems
- Ability to quickly learn new software, processes, and interfaces
- Calm, patient, and professional when working under pressure
- Team-oriented, flexible, and willing to take on new responsibilities as needed
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Medical billing experience is a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
