What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Insurance Biller & Coder (English/Spanish) position at Advance Medical Supply?
Advance Medical Supply is a Home Medical Equipment Company that provides Wheelchairs, Scooters, CPAP, Braces, Walkers, Canes.... etc. Currently, we are looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidate with a good understanding of medical terminology for a Medical Billing. This is a part-time position with the potential to move to full-time, Monday through Friday. This position is office based NO REMOTE applicants will be considered.
Key Duties:
Review and verify insurance eligibility
Bill health plans for the items/services we provide
Maintain accurate records of all charges, payments, including patient Copayments and deductible amounts
Communicate with health insurance companies for claim status and follow-ups
Requirements:
Knowledge of OfficeAlly Software or similar software and ICD10
High School Diploma or equivalent
Employment Background Check
A positive and professional attitude
Good verbal and written communication skills
High performance in a fast-paced environment
Adapt quickly to changes in procedures and processes
