Professional Development Facilitator
A Professional Development Facilitator (PDF) leads Wayne Township Adult Education (WTAE) training in collaboration with the leadership team. This position develops training modules and workshops that help employees learn essential skills in the workplace. The duties of a training facilitator include assessing the skill level of current employees, creating effective training materials, and delivering training programs. A skills development facilitator has regular contact with senior leadership, to ascertain the needs of the organization. Some training is delivered to individuals and other skills are taught in a group setting. Delivery of training in a virtual format is often included in a facilitator job description. Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, technological skills, and attention to detail, are important qualities of a skills development facilitator.
Outcomes
- Mentoring new staff members
- Collaborates with Coordinator(s) to prepare and implement the Staff Professional Development Agendas for July & January
- Supports Coordinators with completion of DWD quarterly reports
- Attends monthly virtual PDF Meeting, sharing out materials to ABE ALL STAFF
- Attends the annual IAACE Day at the Statehouse event
- Supports Coordinator(s) with resource development for respective programs
Stipend Pay: $35/hour - 70 hours per Year
