Group Therapist – Adolescent Mental Health Program
Join our adolescent residential treatment program as a Group Therapist, supporting teens ages 12–17 through structured group therapy, skill-building workshops, and family support programming.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging groups, understands adolescent development, and thrives in a collaborative clinical setting.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate 2-3 daily therapeutic and psycho-educational groups for teens
- Lead family and parent-support groups as assigned
- Create a safe, supportive, and motivating group environment
- Teach coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, and peer support
- Complete daily group notes and behavior documentation
- Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate in care planning
- Support crisis intervention and maintain a positive, professional tone
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology required, Master’s preferred
- Experience leading adolescent group therapy required
- Understanding of CBT, DBT, and adolescent behavioral health
- Strong communication, documentation, and crisis-management skills
- BBS registration (preferred)
Schedule & Compensation
- Sunday through Thursday, 12 PM – 8 PM
- $25.00 per hour
- You will receive supervision hours toward licensure (if registered with the Board)
