Pay Rate: USD $62.50 - $83.33 / hour
Job Summary:
Databricks is seeking an experienced Recruiter III / Senior Technical Recruiter to support high-impact hiring across Engineering, Product, Support, IT, and Security. This role partners closely with executive leadership, hiring managers, and HR business partners during a critical growth phase for the company. You will own and drive end-to-end recruiting strategies, manage multiple high-volume searches, and help maintain Databricks’ high hiring bar while advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR partners to define hiring strategies, goals, and processes
- Lead intake meetings, weekly status updates, and data-driven progress reviews
- Build trust with executive leadership and influence hiring decisions
- Develop and execute robust sourcing strategies for technical roles at multiple levels
- Conduct market research and talent mapping with sourcers
- Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines across functions and industries
- Engage and convert passive candidates into active prospects
- Screen, assess, and interview candidates while upholding Databricks’ hiring bar
- Conduct onsite interviews and participate in hiring debriefs
- Prepare candidate assessments and search status reports
- Create and negotiate complex offers with a strong understanding of compensation and benefits
- Conduct reference checks and close candidates effectively
- Contribute market insights, industry trends, and best practices to the broader recruiting team
Required Qualifications:
- 6 years experience in a highly professional business environment
- 5 years of technical recruiting experience, preferably focused on software engineering roles
- Proven ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced searches
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information quickly
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and adaptability
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong business judgment and professional maturity
- Proficiency using recruiting and business technologies
