9/80 Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM & Every Other Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Typical Day / Work Environment
Planning tests, executing validation, data acquisition, documentation
Daily collaboration with engineers, mechanics, operators, technicians, supply chain, and logistics
Team includes 3 team leaders and multiple senior/junior engineers
Work is 80% on your feet in the shop or field; PPE required (boots, glasses, uniform)
Plan, execute, and document machine-level testing
Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test mechanical devices
Analyze customer design proposals and specifications
Investigate equipment failures and recommend maintenance actions
Assist drafters with structural design using CAD tools
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
No 2-year degrees accepted
Master’s degree candidates are considered overqualified
Experience Requirements
2-4 years of relevant experience (internships count)
Acceptable comparable backgrounds: mechanic, construction, landscaping
Technical Skills
Troubleshooting (required)
CAD experience (required)
Data acquisition (desired)
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Skilled in sketching, engineering drawings, and computations
