Summary:
As an RF Engineer III, you will be responsible for redesigning mature network areas to minimize capacity constraints and improve SINR. You will collaborate with other areas of the network to ensure performance fixes and initiatives are in place, ensuring our customers continue to enjoy crystal-clear connections and outstanding call performance. Additionally, you may be involved in traffic engineering for the region, with an understanding of triggers and prioritization of solutions being beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Redesign mature network areas to minimize capacity constraints and improve SINR.
- Collaborate with other network areas to ensure performance fixes and initiatives are implemented.
- Maintain the quality of customer call performance and connections.
- Engage in traffic engineering for the region as needed.
Qualifications
- A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
- 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in RF design.
- Knowledge of RF theory and practice, as well as LTE/VoLTE and 5G technology.
- Experience in design and optimization of LTE/VoLTE networks.
- Expert knowledge of propagation modeling in Atoll.
- Experience with FUZE or similar database programs.
- Experience in RF design of LTE/VoLTE and 5G networks.
- Recent ATOLL experience.
Desired Skills
- Understanding of LTE network KPIs and key parameters.
- Knowledge of various RF tools such as Mapinfo or post-processing software.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Tableau, including VB macro creation and worksheet manipulation.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $63.00 - $68.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
