Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in food safety or restaurant management.
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
  • Proven track record of improving team performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Bilingual abilities to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff to maintain high performance and adherence to company policies.
  • Manage scheduling and labor costs to optimize workforce efficiency while meeting operational needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper stock management to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with local regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to enhance guest experience.
  • Support financial management tasks including cash handling, budgeting, and sales reporting.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving restaurant performance.
