- Perform psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and MSEs, providing DSM-based diagnoses
- Provide ongoing medication management for assigned patients
- Use the clinic’s electronic health record system and follow Santa Clara County Psychiatric Medical Guidelines
- Collaborate with medical director, nurses, clinicians, and case managers for coordinated care
- Obtain and review diagnostic data, labs, and consultations relevant to patient treatment
- Prepare detailed written reports, documentation, diagnoses, and summaries as required
- Contribute to individualized treatment planning with clinical staff
- Provide psychiatric services in outpatient clinics via telehealth and in person
- Offer consultation and peer guidance to psychiatrists and therapists as needed
- Consult with clinic leadership regarding policies and treatment-related issues
- Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, and performance improvement activities
- Advise families and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment, and intersection with developmental disabilities
- Prepare legal and court-related documents as necessary
