- Office Equipment Available: Telemetry monitoring
- Specialty Backup Available: State-approved pediatrics; Certified Stroke Center
- Support Staff Available: 14 hours daily NP/PA support
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered
- Full-spectrum emergency medicine procedures
- Pediatric emergency care
- Stroke management in accordance with Certified Stroke Center guidelines
- Active Illinois License
- BC/BE; ABEM preferred
- DEA required
- CSL required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, certifications
- Other Qualifications: recent ED experience, comfort with treating alll ages, Experience in stroke response
- Provide emergency medical services to adult and pediatric patients
- Manage patient care in a 16-bed emergency department
- Deliver 24-hour physician coverage in assigned shifts
- Work collaboratively with NP/PA support staff
- Ensure adherence to standards required for state-approved pediatrics and Certified Stroke Center
