• Case Mix: General anesthesia, OB, vascular surgery, cath lab, healthy pediatrics, occasional NORA, basic nerve blocks

Required Procedures

• Major vascular and interventional vascular (including AAA repair)

• Cardiac cath lab cases (ablations, angioplasty/stents, ICDs, EP studies, atrial appendage occlusion devices)
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• Obstetric anesthesia (labor epidurals and C-sections)
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• Trauma anesthesia
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

Regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks (primarily interscalene, occasional popliteal and supraclavicular)

Placement of central venous catheters and arterial catheters<\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span>Difficult intubation

<\/span><\/span>

Job Requirements

<\/span><\/span>

• Licenses: Active Indiana license or IMLC
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• DEA: Active DEA Certification
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• Certifications: ACLS (AHA issued), BLS (AHA issued)
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in anesthesiology
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• Vaccinations: Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• Other Qualifications: Ability to independently perform all required procedures from Day 1; attestation required<\/span><\/span>

• <\/span><\/span>Fully credentialed with agency

• <\/span><\/span>Clean Background

• <\/span><\/span>No NPDB concerns

• <\/span><\/span>Available for 6-8 weeks listed
  
  

Duties & Responsibilities

<\/span><\/span>

• Provide full-spectrum anesthesia services for adult, pediatric, vascular, obstetric, trauma, and cath lab cases
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• Perform regional and peripheral nerve blocks as required
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• Manage OR anesthesia independently without CRNA supervision
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• Complete order entry and documentation in Vemsta and Epic systems
  
  

<\/span><\/span>

• Participate in in-person orientation prior to assignment
  
  

<\/span><\/span>
