- Master’s-level preparation as an Art Therapist.
- Current credentialing through the Art Therapy Credentials Board.
- Current licensure as a Professional Art Therapist.
- Understanding of professional ethics and behaviors.
- Ability to provide individualized school-based services
- Ability to provide all art therapy materials and supplies needed for service delivery.
- Assess student needs and develop individualized art therapy treatment and intervention plans.
- Use therapeutic art interventions to address social, communication, emotional, physical, cognitive, sensory, and related functional needs.
- Serve students across all grades
- Provide services in person
- Travel between assigned schools or locations as needed
- Provide individual or group art therapy services based on student needs and applicable educational plans.
- Any other duties as assigned.
