Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. • Experience providing general occupational therapy services • Experience providing occupational therapy services in a pediatric clinical setting; • Experience in the administration and Interpretation of occupational therapy assessment procedures, development of appropriate student goals and objectives; • Experience working in a California school district, SELPA Office or County Office of Education. • Experience or certification in Sensory Integration methods. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: • Valid California Board of Occupational Therapy License. • Valid registration with the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy. • Possession of or willingness and ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification and Universal Precautions. • Possession of a valid California Driver's License. CERTIFICATE/MATERIALS REQUIRED: • Letter of Introduction • Resume • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation: signed and dated within 1 year of closing date of position • College Transcripts - must include date highest degree conferred • Valid California Board of Occupational Therapy License. • Valid registration with the National Board Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
