Senior Procurement/Buyer – Electrical / Critical Infrastructure / Facilities Automation
We’re currently assisting our client in identifying a Senior Procurement Buyer to support large-scale construction and technology infrastructure programs. This position focuses on strategic sourcing and category management of electrical, HVAC, low-voltage, and automation supplies that power complex critical infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and issue RFPs/RFQs/RFIs; manage bid compliance, cost, and pricing analysis.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across electrical, automation, and facilities categories.
- Oversee contracting/subcontracting, including T&Cs, PO administration, and close-out.
- Ensure FAR/DFARS/TINA/ITAR compliance, managing export/import documentation.
- Develop negotiation strategies, perform should-cost/price analysis, and track savings.
- Manage supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance (OTD, quality, NCR/CAR).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PMO, Engineering, Operations, and Quality.
- Drive continuous improvement, KPI dashboards, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Support ERP/MRP purchasing (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) with data integrity.
- Coordinate material logistics and mitigate availability risks.
- Travel up to 25% (domestic & limited international).
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or Engineering (BSEE or BSME preferred).
- 7 years of direct procurement/buying experience in electrical, automation, or critical infrastructure industries.
- Experience developing long-term sourcing strategies for construction or facilities projects.
- Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, contracting, and supplier management.
- U.S. Citizenship required (must be able to obtain a security clearance).
Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
