Account Executive – Southeast (Remote)


A leading provider of connected operations and IoT-based fleet solutions is seeking a motivated, high-performing Account Executive to drive new business growth across the Southeast region. This is a remote, field-based sales role designed for a true “hunter” who thrives on building pipelines, winning new clients, and expanding market presence.

The ideal candidate is based in the Atlanta, GA area and brings a strong history of developing territories from scratch, engaging senior decision-makers, and closing complex, technology-focused deals within the fleet or transportation space.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 years of experience in outside B2B sales, preferably within SaaS, telematics, industrial IoT, or related technology sectors
  • Proven success in a hunter-style sales role with a consistent track record of exceeding quotas
  • Understanding of fleet operations, transportation, or supply chain environments
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills, particularly with executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office tools
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
  • Must be located in the Atlanta, GA metro area


What You’ll Do

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within your assigned region, expanding market presence
  • Build and execute a strategic territory plan leveraging outbound prospecting, networking, and in-person meetings
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
  • Collaborate with marketing and inside sales teams to generate and develop a strong pipeline through campaigns, events, and outreach efforts
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline activity, and account details within Salesforce CRM
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by demonstrating how IoT solutions improve asset visibility, optimize operations, and reduce costs
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and regional conferences
