About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead EHS initiatives across multiple locations. In this role, you will shape safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in partnership with operational leaders.

What You’ll Do
âś… Lead EHS Strategy & Compliance
- Implement and manage EHS policies, procedures, and corporate directives.
- Guide cross‑functional teams on EHS best practices and program feasibility.
- Maintain rigorous compliance assurance processes across assigned sites.
âś… Drive Continuous Improvement
- Conduct recurring EHS performance reviews with plant leadership.
- Create and track EHS improvement plans to elevate site performance.
- Perform internal audits, manage corrective actions, and ensure closure.
âś… Manage Incident Response & Reporting
- Lead thorough incident investigations and follow-up actions.
- Publish safety alerts and support sharing of learnings across sites.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of required EHS documentation and logs (including OSHA 300).
âś… Support EHS Management Systems
- Implement and sustain ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 programs.
- Lead risk identification, evaluation, and control measures.
âś… Engage Regulatory & External Stakeholders
- Build relationships with local and regional regulatory agencies.
- Represent the organization in compliance discussions or inspections.
âś… Champion Employee Health Programs
- Manage communication with Third‑Party Administrators for workers’ compensation.
- Support return‑to‑work programs and accurate incident reporting.
âś… Advance Sustainability, Ergonomics & CI
- Lead programs focused on ergonomics, sustainability, waste management, and by‑product control.
- Ensure compliance during site openings, expansions, or closures.
âś… Resource & Budget Planning
- Collaborate on annual EHS budget planning to ensure adequate resourcing.
What You'll Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Ability to partner with and support multiple sites or regions.
- Willingness to travel for site support and program deployment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience working independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to build strong relationships with leaders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in a Just‑In‑Time (JIT) or fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
