Position Summary
Addison Group is partnered on the search for a Treasury Analyst to join our growing finance organization. This role is ideal for a candidate with some experience in corporate treasury or public accounting who is looking to build a career in treasury operations within a dynamic service organization.
The Treasury Analyst will play a key role in managing the company's daily cash position, supporting debt administration, maintaining banking relationships, and assisting with the organization's insurance program. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash positions and manage cash forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity across the organization.
- Execute daily cash management activities, including bank transfers, account funding, and reconciliation of cash activity.
- Utilize the Wells Fargo banking portal to initiate transactions, monitor account activity, and support treasury operations.
- Assist with debt management activities, including maintaining debt schedules, preparing compliance reporting, and coordinating lender communications.
- Support and maintain relationships with banking partners, helping to resolve banking issues and facilitate account maintenance.
- Assist with the administration of the company's insurance program, including policy renewals, certificates of insurance, claims support, and coordination with brokers and carriers.
- Prepare treasury-related reports, analyses, and documentation for management.
- Partner with Accounting and Finance to support month-end close, cash reporting, and audit requests.
- Recommend and support process improvements to enhance treasury efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Maintain accurate treasury records and ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
- Perform other treasury and finance-related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Approximately 2 years of experience in corporate treasury, public accounting, or a related finance role.
- Strong understanding of cash management principles and financial reporting.
- Experience working with online banking platforms; experience with Wells Fargo banking systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with debt administration and corporate banking relationships is preferred.
- Exposure to corporate insurance administration is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
