Our client is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee and execute high-volume payroll operations across a multi-entity environment. This role is ideal for a payroll professional with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex payroll scenarios including union payroll and labor compliance requirements. The individual will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and timeliness while partnering closely with HR and accounting teams.
Experience with high-volume payroll processing and labor compliance tracking (including union or LCP) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for a large employee population across multiple pay groups
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, deductions, and benefit withholdings
- Manage and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Handle union payroll requirements, including dues, fringe benefits, and contract adherence
- Support Labor Compliance Program (LCP) tracking and reporting as needed
- Reconcile payroll data and assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- 4–7 years of payroll experience, including high-volume processing
- Experience with union payroll and/or labor compliance tracking (LCP) strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
- High level of accuracy and ability to manage sensitive, confidential information
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
