This position will play a key role in the SEC reporting process and technical accounting function, partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Tax, and Investor Relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and filing of SEC reports including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Proxy statements
- Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements
- Perform tie-outs of financial data to supporting schedules and source documents
- Support consolidation processes across multiple entities and business units
- Partner with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Conduct technical accounting research and draft accounting memos
- Monitor and implement new accounting standards and maintain accounting policies
- Ensure compliance with SOX 404 internal controls and assist with documentation and testing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Investor Relations teams
- Assist with earnings releases and financial reporting packages
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency
- 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) and/or public company reporting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
- Experience with SEC filings, disclosures, and financial statement preparation
- Exposure to XBRL/iXBRL tagging preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools (Workiva or similar a plus)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-segment organizations
- Exposure to foreign currency translation and consolidations
