Role Overview
The ideal candidate brings prior experience in PE-backed or high-growth healthcare organizations, ideally within multi-provider, specialty, or physician group settings, and is comfortable working in environments where processes and systems are actively evolving.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end and periodic close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and reporting packages
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities in partnership with finance leadership
- Contribute to audit preparation and assist with both internal and external audit requests
- Analyze expense and revenue variances and provide insight to management
- Assist across AP, AR, payroll, and billing functions as needed in a lean team environment
- Help ensure data integrity and consistency within financial systems and reporting tools
Required Background
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong general ledger and month-end close experience
- Hands-on experience working in healthcare accounting environments is required
- Exposure to PE-backed, high-growth, or operationally complex organizations strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliations
