Title: Payroll and Benefits Manager
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay: $120,000 - 125,000

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 7 years of progressive experience in payroll and benefits administration
- Experience administering multi-state employee benefit programs.
- Experience managing broker relationships, vendor partnerships, and annual renewals.
- Experience with HRIS platforms: Paycom preferred; ADP, UKG, Paychex, or similar
Key Responsibilities
- Own multi-state payroll operations for hourly and salaried employees
- Lead benefits administration, strategy, renewals, and vendor management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations
- Improve payroll and HRIS processes while identifying operational efficiencies
- Manage benefit plan design, broker relationships, and vendor negotiations
- Partner with HR and Finance leadership on reporting, budgeting, and employee programs
