Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal with 3-4 years of legal experience to support our legal team in complex case management and advanced legal functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal procedures, independently manage caseloads, and provide high-level support to attorneys in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of case preparation, discovery, and trial.
- Draft complex legal documents, including motions, pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and factual investigations to support case strategy.
- Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and other legal documents.
- Manage large volumes of documents and maintain detailed, organized case files.
- Coordinate and manage deadlines, court filings (state and federal), and docketing.
- Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, depositions, and client meetings as needed.
- Liaise with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors.
- Mentor and support junior paralegals or legal assistants as needed.
- 4-5 years of Paralegal experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw preferred
- Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Highly polished, organized, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree preferred (equivalent experience may compensate).
