What will you be doing?
- Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and Discovery.
- Filing legal documents with the Court.
- Researching and analyzing statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources and providing written analysis to attorneys.
- Case management, including managing deadlines, preparing and organizing case files, and ongoing communications with clients.
- Assisting attorneys with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings.
- Talking to, meeting, and building relationships with clients.
- Assisting with client intake, scheduling, and team communication to support case development and overall firm operations.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Required Education and Work Experience:
- 5-7 years of law firm experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Hands-on experience in the Maryland court system preferred.
- Paralegal certification a plus.
