About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Medical Billing Specialist who is passionate about supporting individuals and families within the community. This role plays a key part in connecting people to the health resources they need.

Job Description:

The Medical Billing Specialist will work directly with providers, patients, and clinical staff. This position is ideal for someone comfortable in a business office setting as well as someone who is comfortable having discussions with patients on their financial obligations for reimbursement to the facilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare claims for submission to insurance carriers
• Assist patient apply for state Medicaid
• Follow-up on rejected claims by correcting claims and resubmitting to insurance carriers
• Verify insurance, eligibility, and benefits coverage
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year in billing for Skilled Nursing
• Insurance knowledge of reimbursement
