About the Organization
Our client is a prominent family office and operating group headquartered in the Bay Area, supporting a portfolio of 20 unique entities spanning philanthropy, research institutes, aviation, hospitality, and more. Their Washington, DC office supports a combination of staff, rotating executives, and high-profile guests—requiring a polished, discreet, and highly capable IT presence.
With their full-time hiring process underway, they are seeking a temporary onsite IT Support Specialist to ensure seamless day-to-day operations for their DC team.
What You’ll Do
This is a hands-on Level II/III role supporting a fast-paced office with high expectations around service quality, discretion, and professionalism. You will be the primary onsite IT contact for ~40–50 employees plus frequent guests.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Provide Level II/III technical support for Mac users
- Troubleshoot issues related to Google Workspace, Zoom, and core SaaS applications
- Assist with access management (Google Groups, app sign-in issues, etc.)
- Handle IT break/fix, device performance issues, networking basics, and endpoint troubleshooting
- Manage and reimage ~40 loaner laptops using JAMF
- Support new-hire onboarding and employee offboarding
- Ensure conference rooms and collaboration spaces remain reliable and ready for frequent use
- Partner with remote team members and the systems team to escalate or triage complex issues
What We’re Looking For
Technical Must-Haves:
- Strong macOS support experience
- Proficiency with JAMF (imaging, management, reimaging)
- Strong support background with Google Workspace
- Solid Zoom troubleshooting
- Experience with onboarding/offboarding workflows

Team & Environment
You’ll be the primary onsite IT presence in DC. You’ll collaborate with:
- A systems-focused engineer onsite
- A senior IT lead who travels to DC every other week
- A broader distributed technology team
