Job Description:
Addison Group is partnering with a manufacturing organization to identify an HR Coordinator to support recruiting efforts, HR operations, and general office administration. This position plays an important role in ensuring a smooth hiring process, maintaining accurate HR documentation, and assisting with day-to-day office activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment logistics including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
- Maintain applicant tracking records and assist with candidate documentation throughout the hiring process
- Support hiring managers by coordinating interviews and facilitating timely feedback and communication
- Assist with offer preparation, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding paperwork
- Help manage new hire onboarding processes, including preparing employee files and HR system entries
- Respond to employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, and general HR inquiries
- Assist with HR initiatives such as training coordination, compliance tracking, and reporting
- Maintain confidential employee records and ensure documentation accuracy within HR systems
- Provide administrative support including scheduling, data entry, and general office coordination
- Assist with company events, internal meetings, and workplace engagement initiatives
- Coordinate visitor logistics such as travel arrangements, meeting preparation, and catering when needed
- Monitor office and kitchen supplies and coordinate with vendors for facility-related needs
- Distribute incoming mail and support general communication tools such as phone systems and distribution lists
- Perform additional administrative and HR-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting support, or administrative roles
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience working with HRIS or applicant tracking systems preferred
